Introduction
Al-Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company SAOG was established in 1993. The name Al Maha was given in honour of the rare and protected gazelle species of Arabian Oryx.
On 7th February 2004, the company was converted from a limited liability company to a General Omani joint stock company known as Al-Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company S.A.O.G. and was listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange (MHAS). In 2023 Al Maha Petroleum also became a Fortune-500 Arabia company featuring in the very first listing of Fortune-500 companies in the Arabian region..
